The City Clerk is responsible for all elections, licensing and is the FOIA coordinator.
The City has one voting precinct, located at the Community Center, 3106 Roosevelt Rd.
To be qualified to vote in an election, you must be registered to vote. Click here if you would like to register vote or have an address change. You can register to vote at City Hall or at the Secretary of State’s office all the way up to election day. On election day, polls are open from 7:00 a.m. until 8:00 p.m. If you have any questions about your voter registration or absentee voting requirements, call 231-755-3721 ext. 1952.

Business licenses
Business license applications are required to be completed and paid for annually each December. You must have a valid license to operate your business within Roosevelt Park. Applications can be picked up in City Hall or downloaded from this site. The fee is $45 per business, $125 per complex or $135 if liquor is sold at the business.
